Chapter 1, Part 3 - nostalgia

Forgive the short hiatus from the blog the last few weeks, it's been a crazy time over here! But I'm back, just as we head into grad season! It's been a LONG time since I was a graduate (whether that's graduating high school or university), but I'm feeling so nostalgic about it this year. I suspect that could be due to my obsession with The Summer I Turned Pretty over the last month which has had me watching and reliving those teen / early twenties years. 

Remember the days - study dates with your friends, library days turned-procrastination-sessions, messy house parties, boy drama and no responsibilities. Oh to be young and oh so oblivious again! 

I also recall as law school graduation approached for me, I had really wanted to buy myself the Cartier love ring, to mark the occasion. It felt like such a special time and massive milestone especially because law school had been a long, rough, arduous ride and I almost gave up on it sooo many times over those 5 years, and so I felt like I really wanted to gift myself something to mark the occasion.
